I've spent some free time building up a python class to interact with the Burea of Economic Analysis. It's fairly simple but it can return an array of the datasets availabile, build urls to interact with the API to retrieve the data parameter lists, the paramater values, and the corresponding tables of data. There's a lot of data in there! Anyways this is the basics of it, I'll be updating it more on my github.
After a few months of neglect, I cleaned up the 'Articles' section, added a 'Product Design' section to start tracking those skills, and added some more projects to my github. I'm planning to contribute more frequently with projects I am working on or snippets that have proved to be valuable in a pinch.
The newest article added is a basic overview of how to create a node.js server for local development. There is some dummy code to get you up and running and it can be a launching point for more complex projects. I currently have some python functions tied into my own server and hope to write up another article on using worker threads for those.
Overall though I hope to create a more refined experience for you the user to help you if you came to this site looking for some helpful information. That may changing the design a little. But no, I will not be adding a carousel feature to this site 😊.
